The frame is not made out of stainless steel, but High-Tension steel tubing combined with a special chrome-molybdenum alloy. Stainless steel does not have the required properties. The frame is powder coated which gives a very good protection against rust.
The chain wheel is aluminium. The handle bars and the handle bar stem are made of stainless steel.
