Now approaching Christmas by leaps and here on a the bicycle factory, we have got a good taste of Christmas through our 10-year anniversary which we celebrated with a retailer party. We ate a genuine Småländskt smorgasbord where, besides the more traditional dishes, we served both potato dumplings, Swedish turnip pudding and cabbage pudding.
The week before the party we spent rolling meatballs, salting the herring, making dumplings and everything else for the smorgasbord. A little different from an ordinary working week.
Thank you retailers for taking the time to come and visit us at Pilen. I hope you had as much fun as we in the staff had! A special thank you we want to address to Ericsson and Bengt Ake Stenqvist that during the factory tour, presented a Single-Speed Pilen cycle. A rather easy modification, such as sports handlebar, narrower tires and the absence of the carrier made it a completely different cycle.
I hope you retailers who were unable to come to the party have the opportunity to visit us in the coming years. You are welcome any time!
