Pilen Grus Gravel Bike
Pilen Grus is a well-equipped gravel bike that combines performance and comfort. It features a Shimano GRX drivetrain, Tange Seiki TG36J27 Technoglide headset, Rival rims, Panaracer GravelKing tires, and Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes. Designed for gravel and rough roads, paved roads, trails, and paths, it can handle all conditions.
Pilen Grus Gravel Bike
Pilen Grus (“Grus” is Swedish for gravel) is a well-equipped gravel bike offering both performance and comfort. The level of equipment includes Shimano GRX components, Tange Seiki TG36J27 Technoglide headset, Rival rims, Panaracer GravelKing tyres, and Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes. Pilen Grus is designed for riding on gravel and rough roads, paved roads, trails, or paths, uphill and downhill, in all weather conditions. Like other gravel bikes, Pilen has drop handlebars and a forward-leaning riding position similar to road racers.
The frame features triple-butted 0.7, 0.4, 0.3, 0.7 mm and double-butted 0.7, 0.4, 0.7 mm tubes in chromoly steel SAE 4130, with brazed mounts and details, and triple mounts for water bottles. The Tange Seiki TG36J27 Technoglide headset, made of lightweight and durable aluminium 6061-T6, provides smooth and precise steering. The frame is also prepared for mudguards, making the Pilen Grus a good option for bikepacking.
The drivetrain consists of the SHIMANO GRX FC-RX600 Grus crankset, specifically designed for riding on gravel and rough roads combined with smooth asphalt and winding paths. The 1×11 gears and 40T chainring provide a good balance between weight and efficiency. The integrated crank arm and bottom bracket offer increased rigidity and efficient power transfer. Precision bearings and easy installation make maintenance straightforward.
Pilen Grus gives you the confidence to master varying terrains thanks to Panaracer GravelKing 27.5 x 1.90, Ryde Rival rims, and extra-strong Sapim Force 14g double-butted spokes. This combination offers good grip, shock absorption, flexibility, and durability.
For braking and speed control, Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes are responsible. They offer powerful, easily modulated braking performance with a low risk of overheating in all conditions. Featuring the innovative One Way Bleeding system, these hydraulic brakes are easy to maintain, giving you more time for cycling.
Pilen Grus has a unicrown fork in chromoly steel, ready for lowriders and mudguards, and features a thru-axle. The saddle is a Selle Montegrappa Menator, providing good comfort even on long rides. With Shimano RX-600 11-speed shifters and a Deore XT-M8000 11-40t cassette, you get smooth gear transitions suited for gravel riding on varied terrains.

Geometry Pilen Grus Gravel Bike
The frame is designed from the ground up to offer a nimble and responsive ride, engaging a rider over technical sections. This responsiveness has been achieved through the use of a smaller, lighter 650b wheel, and a steeper head tube angle (6). Over faster rolling terrain, the longer top tube length (1) provides superior stability at higher speed. This also allows riders to run shorter stems to achieve a desired fit, further improving steering feel and agility. As traditional for a gravel bike, to deal with more challenging terrain, a higher stack height (4) is used. This allows a more relaxed, upright position, to be favored, improving control and weight distribution off road, whilst allowing for unbeatable comfort on paved sections.

Ramen är designad från grunden för att erbjuda en lätthanterlig och responsiv upplevelse. Det har uppnåtts genom en mindre (och lättare) dimension av hjul, 27,5 tum | 650b, och brantare kronrörsvinkel (6). Vid högre hastigheterer ger det relativt långa övre ramröret (1) ökad stabilitet.
