Pilen lyx is our most popular bicycle. Pilens are built to run easily on forest roads as well as on tarmac.
It comes in zero, 3, 5 or 7 gears. With extra powerful spokes, double bottomed rims and a strong carrier they can take heavy luggage easily.
Colours: You can choose between 4 colours. Black, red, green and blue.
Frame: Height: 56 cm. Hi-tension steel. In the seat tube we have chosen crome-molybden steel. Powder coated.
Fork: Hi-tension och chrome-molybden steel. Proved by SMP Svensk Maskinprovning prEN14764 and after DIN standard.
Mudguards: Stainless Steel. Black powder coated.
Bearing and Chain Wheel: The bearings come from Kinex and require no maintenance. The chain wheel is made of aluminium and comes from Sugino in Japan. Aluminium crankshafts.
Chain and chain guard: 108 links. Anti rust processed chain. The chain guard has a layer of Zink before powder coating.
Transmission: 44:20
Rear hub: SRAM T3, SRAM P5 or SRAM S7. You can also choose Shimano Nexus Inter 3 or Shimano Nexus Inter 7. All gears have gripshift in the right grip and internal brakes.
Gears: SRAM with Gripshift in the right grip.
Hjul: 28 tums (47-622) 28 inches (47-622) double bottomed alloy rim with 2,36 mm spokes in stainless Swedish steel. Especially produced for Pilen only.
Carrier: Stable carrier made of steel tubing with stainless steel clamps.
Lock: ABUS highest security class for bicycle locks (class 8).
Brakes: Foot brakes for safety and Sturmey Archer Dynamo hub with drum brake in the front wheel.
Saddle: Brooks B66 leather with springs. It is considered to be the best saddle in the world. Brooks have produced saddles continually since 1866.
Equipment
- Front lamp from Busch & Müller with 3 watts H3-lamp. Excellent light for even the darkest road.
- Rear lamp with automatic light activated by low light and movement. From Spanninga.

Theft protection: theft protection registry S-reg. Exemption from excess if bike gets stolen within a year. You can acquire a new bicycle of the same modell at your retailer.
Tires: Schwalbe City Cruiser with Puncture Protection.
